Sicily Real Estate is a portal that connects property sellers in Sicily — owners and local agents — directly with buyers from around the world. The portal is operated by Terra Mia Immobiliare, the sole proprietorship of Oskar Golde. Terra Mia Immobiliare is not a real estate agency and not a team — it is the operator of this and two other platforms in Sicily.

How the portal works

Directly connected, across the language barrier

An enquiry reaches the seller of the property with no middleman in between — Terra Mia Immobiliare does not broker the conversation and is never a party to any purchase agreement. The portal's real strength is language: every listing is available in German, English and Italian, so Sicilian sellers and international buyers understand each other without a translation barrier. And because listings from every Sicilian province come together in one place — from the coast to the hinterland — properties can be compared for the first time, regardless of which local agent or owner listed them. This produces an overview of the market that has not existed on Sicily in this form before.

Clear boundaries

What the portal is not

Terra Mia Immobiliare does not vet listings and does not advise on a purchase. That is a deliberate boundary: dealing directly with the seller means knowing exactly who you are dealing with — without a promise the platform could not keep. This directness builds an honest kind of trust — one that never promises more than it can keep.

  • No listing checks — details on condition, price and ownership come solely from the seller.
  • No document verification — the platform does not check land registry entries, building permits or energy certificates.
  • No brokerage of the purchase contract — any sale is agreed directly between seller and buyer.
  • No advice — Terra Mia Immobiliare does not provide legal, tax or financing advice.

Business model

How the portal is funded

Terra Mia Immobiliare funds the portal through its sellers: listing a property costs a fee for the listing's duration. If a sale results, the platform charges no commission — neither to the seller nor to the buyer. For buyers, using the portal is free throughout. That transparency is deliberate: knowing how a platform earns its money makes it easier to judge its listings — and its limits.
